This webinar is designed for the Missouri Society for Clinical Social Workers to explore the complexities of mental health within the LGBTQ+ community. Through a detailed presentation and engaging discussions, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the unique mental health challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals and learn effective strategies for providing inclusive and affirming care. This session will emphasize the importance of cultural competence and highlight the latest research to support evidence-based practice.  

By the end of this seminar, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to address the mental health needs of LGBTQ+ clients, fostering an environment of inclusivity and support within their practice.
