Psychology of Oppression: Issues in Minority Health and Mental Health

Professor Sanders Thompson, a leading researcher in the areas of racial identity, psychosocial implications of race and ethnicity in health communications, will lead this training. She will present on the cross-section of the race, oppression and mental heath. Discrimination, health disparities and cultural competence will be discussed among other aspects of this topic.
