Supporting Mental Health in Today's Schools

Please join us as Jean Dwyer, MSW, LCSW, presents on Supporting Mental Health in Today's Schools.

This training will increase participants’ understanding of the resources and opportunities in public schools today. It will include an overview of the current education initiatives including trauma-informed, restorative, and equity practices. Regardless of the employment setting, most Social Workers have interactions with students, families or school staff in some capacity. This training will facilitate awareness of the dynamics of the current school setting as well as help practitioners coordinate care more effectively with the educational system.
