Nathaniel House, MSW, Ph-D student, will present on theories of child welfare. 

The topic will be viewing the foundation of attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral theory, family therapy, and structural theory and its role in the creation of interventions with children. We will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of these theories in regards of intervention. We will discuss and workshop when and how these theories breakdown in practice when working with diverse populations.
