De-Andrea Blaylock-Johnson, MSW, LCSW will present on Cultural Competency in Clinical Social Work.

Have you ever considered different aspects of culture and how it may influence your clinical work?  Whether it’s race, religion, or music, culture impacts the way in which we interact with the world. As social workers, it’s important to be mindful of the paradigms in which we view the world and how it can influence our clinical interactions. During this interactive presentation, participants will revisit different aspects of culture and learn how to incorporate this often excluded part of our clients’ lives. The presentation will include PowerPoint and video.
