Shirley Crenshaw will be presenting on Attachment Therapy.
This workshop will describe the diagnosis, signs, symptoms and assessment of attachment disturbances. It will also highlight the importance of using the family, in treating the child with attachment disturbances. The significance of providing high structure, strong limits, as well as high nurture within the family to help the child develop a sense of basic safety and trust will be emphasized. The use of EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Theraplay, Brain Gym, and Role Play will be discussed.
