Synopsis:
Collaborative problem solving is a structured process where individuals work together to understand a problem and create a mutually agreeable solution. It is built on the principle that people generally do well if they can and that a lack of skill, not will, is the cause of challenging behaviors or unmet expectations. With an emphasis on relationship and skill building in the areas of communication, empathy, and joint effort we will explore a thorough intervention that addresses root causes of issues, rather than imposing one person's will on another.
