Tim’s specialties include mental health and substance abuse treatment, grief and anger management counseling, and family mediation. Secretary: Nan Karl, MSW, LCSW
Nan has worked in the social work field for about 30 years. She has a background in sexual trauma and has worked as a therapist in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Nan has worked with both survivors and perpetrators of sexual abuse, both child and adult, for most of her career. She currently is in full time private practice in Clayton, where she provides services to clients dealing with sexual trauma, sex offending behavior, and chronic mental illness. She has been providing ongoing group therapy services to St. Louis County Family Court in their adolescent sex offender program for twelve years. Her mission in life I to raise awareness of sexual offending as a public health issue as opposed to a purely criminal issue. Nan has been a member of the MSCSW for approximately 10 years and would like to grow the organization to offer opportunities and benefits to area social workers and therapist that she has enjoyed so much.
