Kristen Ernst, LPC, will present on how to companion others during acute grief and ongoing grief journey. Format will be comprised of a power point with many private practice examples and situations. Objectives will be to have a greater understanding of the grief process, how to companion verses treating clients, and how to attend to one’s own grief to avoid counter-transference in the therapeutic relationship.
