About the Presenter
Dr. Jerold Kreisman, M.D., is a psychiatrist and best-selling author.  His books, 
I Hate You, Don't Leave Me, and Sometimes I Act Crazy. have been translated into several languages around the world.  He is an Associate Clinical Professor at St. Louis University and has been designated a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.  He has lectured widely in both this country and abroad, and has appeared on many media programs, including The Oprah Winfrey Show.

Content
Utilizing audience participation, video presentations, and discussion, we will examine clinical approaches to evaluation and treatment of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). Conceptualization of the disorder includes various proposals of scientific diagnosis, and client descriptions of their experiences. 
Objectives include:
Diffentiating BPD from other disorders
- Addressing common dilemmas presented in the clinical setting
Reviewing developmental and neurobiological etiology
Examining treatment approaches
Presenting communication strategies
